The government has a tax allowance scheme for those working from home, where you can claim up to £312 per year. You may be able to make a claim for working from home to cover additional household costs you incurred if you had to work at home, even if just for one day.

Have you already claimed your working from home expenses?
If you have already claimed your working from expenses then it is unlikely that you can make a further claim. This includes making a direct claim to HMRC or if you employer has already paid your expenses for working from home.
Did you complete a Self Assessment tax return?
If you have completed a Self Assessment tax return then it is likely that you will have already claimed your working from home expenses.
